This structure has been built to demonstrate just some of the more sustainable products available through Jewson and its sister companies. Although these products would not necessarily be used in this combination in construction, it does demonstrate the range of options available.
Smartroof® - The first panel system from Pasquill that can span from gable end to gable end. The panels simply slot together for a safe and fast installation.
Roof Truss - Our roof trusses are manufactured by Pasquillspecialists in timber engineering. The trusses are factory producedreducing on-site build time and allowing a greater level of precision.
Glasswool Insulation - Frame Batts from Isover offer high levels of thermal insulation, are easy to install and is manufactured from up to 80% recycled glass. There are many
different formats available for use in walls, lofts and floors.
Sheepswool Insulation - from Black Mountain is an abundant, safe, natural and healthy alternative to artificial insulation. It is flexible and easy to install in roof, wall and floor
constructions.
High Performance plasterboard - Thermaline plasterboard from British Gypsum is a high performance board that offers additional thermal insulation.
Thermowood® Cladding - is thermally modifi ed to provide enhanced qualities of durability and resistance to decay. It is sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Solid Oak Flooring - Jewson offer a range of solid wood flooring sourced from legal and sustainable sources.
Floor Cassette - manufactured using either I-joists or Posijoists, floor cassettes increase on site safety and dramatically speed up the build process.
