Saint-Gobain Worldwide

Saint-Gobain was established in 1665 by French Minister Jean-Baptiste Colbert along with Louis XIV in order to provide glass production at an industrial scale for the first time in history. Ever since being established in the 17th Century Saint-Gobain has retained its commitment to research and development and even today we spend over £400 million on R&D. Saint-Gobain has a central presence held in Paris, France where the Executive Committee headed by Company Chairman & CEO Pierré-Andre de Chalendar are based.

Extended from the Central Group are 13 General Delegations - combining a group of countries to form a Saint-Gobain region. These Delegations are Saint‑Gobain's representatives in each of the 13 regions and provide, guidance, support and direction for co-ordinating Saint-Gobain's activities in that region. Each Delegation is headed up by a General Delegate. Below you can see a list of the delegations and the countries that fit within them.
