Saint-Gobain PAM UK publish new Ensign Cast Iron Drainage System catalogue

Saint-Gobain PAM UK, the leading UK manufacturer of cast iron above and below ground drainage systems, recently published a new 88-page catalogue featuring all the latest products within its market-leading Ensign drainage system, which provides the commercial, industrial and public sector building industries with the complete above and below ground drainage solution – whatever the application.
The only drainage system tested and kitemark approved to BS EN 877, Ensign offers specifiers, contractors and installers a fit-and-forget solution which outperforms all other materials. Ensign combines all the proven material properties of cast iron - unrivalled in terms of fire resistance, acoustic qualities, strength and longevity - with installation time savings validated by a recent study by the BRE.
The Ensign system covers pipes and fittings from 50mm to 600mm diameter for above ground specifications and 100mm to 600mm diameter for below ground applications. Connections can be made with cast iron mechanical joints or Saint-Gobain PAM’s innovative new EEZI-FIT range of socketed fittings and couplings, which are designed to combine all the benefits of cast iron with the simplicity of push-fit assembly.
EEZI-FIT not only reflects market needs for easier to install drainage systems but also enables the installer to save time during installation, have more flexibility for connecting waste pipes, and reduce time for testing. This is a further endorsement for Ensign being the most comprehensive and versatile cast iron system on the market
Included in the new catalogue is a comprehensive step-by-step installation and jointing guide, typical applications, connection to other systems, and design and technical advice for both above ground and buried drainage applications. In addition, it provides full technical specifications for all products in the range including the system’s wide variety of pipes, couplings, brackets, connectors, branches, floor drains and fittings.
