International Timber expands extensive panel range

Leading sustainable timber and panel supplier, International Timber, has more than doubled its panel range so it can now offer one of the most comprehensive selections of panel solutions in the UK.

The new products complement the existing hardwood and softwood range but provide customers with much greater choice, creating a one-stop shop for all timber users.

The extended range now consists of veneered MDF, flame retardant panels, Chinese plywood, marine grade hardwood plywood and specialist technical plywood Riga Tex, which is used by commercial vehicle manufacturers. It also has an extensive array of softwood plywood solutions, decorative panels and Egger chipboard. 

  
To assist in the growth of this essential area, International Timber has also appointed a dedicated panel product director, Frank Duff to oversee the expansion, which will continue during 2013.

Frank said: “Panel products are a growing area of our business so it is important we offer customers a vast choice while also giving them the reassurance that the products they purchase are from certified and legal sources.”

Sustainability is at the heart of International Timbers business, with 95 percent of all products it sells being either FSC or PEFC certified. All new products go through a rigorous auditing process before being introduced to ensure all stages of production adhere to certification requirements.
