Saint-Gobain, in the UK & Ireland, is launching its first range of off-site solutions at The Chartered Institute of Housing’s Housing 2016 Conference & Exhibition.
Held at Manchester Central on 28–30 June, the leading show for social housing will see the industry explore some of the questions around the sector’s future and identify the solutions that can help make a difference.
Saint-Gobain’s new panelised steel frame external wall solutions will be introduced to the market for the first time at the show. A team of experts will be on hand to demonstrate the range with showcase system models, giving visitors the opportunity to discuss the system’s suitability for medium-rise multi-occupancy buildings up to 18 metres.
Saint-Gobain is also bringing ‘great places to live – Multi-Occupancy building solutions’ to CIH. This new literature details the latest building regulations, tailored specifically for medium-rise multi-occupancy buildings including student accommodation, care homes and apartments.
Experts on the stand will be able to explain how Saint-Gobain products can be combined to offer:
- Fabric First solutions – prioritising improvements to a building’s fabric and services
- Closer to Comfort– solutions that go beyond regulation levels, allowing improvements to be made in the comfort of buildings
- Multi-Comfort – a holistic building standard to design and build with the comfort, health and wellbeing of the user at the forefront
Stacey Temprell, Habitat Marketing Director for Saint-Gobain in the UK & Ireland, said: “This is the first time Saint-Gobain has exhibited at CIH and we are excited to be launching our new solutions there. We’re looking forward to speaking to visitors at the show about our new steel frame external wall solutions, and launch ‘great places to live – Multi-Occupancy building solutions’, which shows how our solutions can be used for multi-occupancy projects.”
