We are pleased to announce that Saint-Gobain has been revealed as a Clarivate Analytics Top 100 Global Innovator for the sixth year running.
The listing, which features companies from across the globe, is decided upon based on patent volume, application-to-grant success, globalisation, influence and Research & Development (R&D) and recognises the most innovative companies in the world.
According to the full report, the top innovators spent more than $227 billion on R&D and generated more than $4 trillion in revenue in 2015, using innovation to boost local and global economies.
R&D and innovation is at the heart of Saint-Gobain’s strategy, comprising of 3,700 people, 8 cross-business research centres worldwide and an investment of 434 million euros in 2015. The Group’s research focuses both on breakthrough innovations and on continuously improving its products, processes and services to better meet the needs of customers.
