Use glass as a barrier to allow light to flow throughout the interior without compromising on safety.

Glass balustrades are installed in buildings wherever people should be retained, stopped or guided, especially where there are differences in level beyond well-defined limits. The type of protective barrier to be provided is determined by the intended use of the building and the potential risks to its users and occupants.

Key products include:

SGG DECORGLASS

SGG DECORGLASS is a patterned glass which has a texture printed onto its surface. Available in a wide range of patterns and colours, it provides an infinite choice of styles and variations. A piece of clear or tinted glass is passed between two rollers, which emboss the pattern into the glass, providing a highly durable finish.

SGG SATINOVO

SGG SATINOVO is a premium product and can be used to enhance all areas. Produced by acid etching one face of a piece of clear glass, it has a distinctive, uniformly smooth and satin-like appearance. As a translucent product, it admits light whilst still providing obscuration and vision control.

SGG STADIP COLOR

SGG STADIP COLOR is an almost inexhaustible range of coloured laminated glasses, comprising at least two sheets of glass bonded together with a coloured plastic interlayer. Using any combination of the basic colour films, virtually any colour either translucent or transparent can be created.
