Apprenticeships are not what they used to be and they can now be a great fit for anyone - regardless of age, background or experience. They are no longer just a starting point in your career and can be also be undertaken to re-skill in a different sector or build on your existing skillset.
Whether you’re a school leaver or someone looking to re-skill mid-career we want to speak to you. It doesn’t matter what subject or skill you want to learn, we are very open to exploring options for the right people.
This year alone, Saint-Gobain have introduced new apprenticeship opportunities in; Digital, HR, Customer Service, Engineering, Leadership & Management, resulting in over 100 new apprentices in our business, consisting of both new and existing employees. In addition to this we are currently working to finalise additional apprenticeship opportunities in IT and Procurement.

We regularly offer opportunities for people to experience life at Saint-Gobain before they join. Every year we take on people from school, college and university to undertake placements of varying lengths.
We're proud of the fact that many of these people return to start their careers with us at a later date. For example, meet Sophie – she started with us on a short work placement in our central HR team. Once she graduated, Sophie was offered a full time role in the same team, and has since been promoted to support over 400 colleagues in 3 locations.
Many of our employees go on to have long fulfilling careers within our network of 36 businesses in the UK & Ireland, or across one of the 67 countries that we operate in worldwide.
