Our Operator colleagues sit at the very heart of Saint-Gobain, helping us to manufacture and produce materials and solutions to make the world a better home. This function is wide and varied, ranging from Production Operative roles in our manufacturing plants to Warehouse Operative roles in our branches.
It's a hands on function where you'll operate equipment and contribute to the output efficiency of the site, maintaining high levels of quality and a safe working environment for all. You'll actively participate and contribute to the site's product or service outputs with a focus on efficiency, safety and quality.
Twenty one of our brands employ Operator colleagues in the UK and Ireland, including Saint-Gobain Weber, British Gypsum and Saint-Gobain PAM, providing a wealth of opportunities for career progression within the business. In each of our brands the operator roles will be slightly different, depending on the product being produced and the manufacturing process on the individual site, however health and safety is always the top priority.
We have over 45 manufacturing sites in the UK and Ireland, as well as a vast branch network, so there are plenty of opportunities for career development at Saint-Gobain. We encourage colleagues to progress their careers across our different brands, sites and functions so not only will you have opportunity to progress in your brand and function, you'll have access to opportunities across our 35 brands that all vary in terms of manufacturing processes, outputs and products.
