Saint-Gobain brands provided a range of solutions to a new £10m Perivale Primary School and Children’s centre in West London.
THE TASK
The school required flexibility of use and layout which was achieved with British Gypsum drylining systems for the internal partitions with Isover insulation. Acoustic ceiling solutions were provided by Saint-Gobain Ecophon, external wall insulation from Saint-Gobain Weber and glazing from Glassolutions.
LET’S GET TECHNICAL
The steel canopy of the school required individually tailored glazing bars, glass with a specially facetted edge to both the front and rear of the canopy, which needed specialist lifting equipment to install some of the glass panels which exceeded four metres in length.
