Colleagues from Saint-Gobain Formula and British Gypsum participate in the Great British Spring Clean

To support Saint-Gobain’s purpose to Make the World a Better Home and play an active part in its local community, colleagues from Saint-Gobain Formula and British Gypsum participated in the ‘Great British Spring Clean’ in March, an annual campaign run by Keep Britain Tidy.

Keep Britain Tidy is UK's largest mass-action environmental campaign, focused on keeping local communities litter-free. The team from Formula and British Gypsum cleaned up the area around the Newark quarry, filling 73 bags with litter.

Saint-Gobain Formula’s Bantycock Quarry manager, Kevin Glasper says:

"Saint-Gobain’s purpose is ‘Making the world a better home’ and we are committed to being a good corporate citizen wherever we operate.  This campaign gave our employees a great opportunity to improve the environment around our Newark operations and work together as a different kind of team for a day.  Whilst it is disappointing to find so much litter locally, it was also very satisfying to collect 73 bags and make such a difference locally."
