Introduction:

The Amsterdam Courthouse, with fifty separate courtrooms and over a thousand personnel, including two hundred judges, is by far the biggest of the eleven courts in the Netherlands. Glass is employed extensively in the superstructure as fire-resistant and high-security glazing.

Problems:

The customer picked Vetrotech as his preferred partner to assist him realize his project and meet certain needs.

Agentor collaborated closely with Vetrotech Saint-Gobain to create solutions that fulfill all of the safety and fire-resistant standards.

We erected many superstructures for fire-resistant and high-security glass.

Solutions:

Vetrotech Saint-Gobain Benelux conducted project-based development tests to establish a distinct feature in the new courthouse with its unique combination of fire-resistant and high-security glass. Fire-resistant glass CONTRAFLAM and CONTRAFLAM LITE (EW30, EW60, EI30, and EI 60) were used in various designs, totaling about 400 m². Additionally, VETROGARD BULLET RC2 and RC3 spanning approximately 90 m² were installed.

Benefits:

This project's glass is specifically designed to be fire-resistant and secure.
Different combinations of fire protection and assault resistance solutions are available, as well as penetration resistance, sound insulation, and bullet-resistant glass.
All of our glass solutions were evaluated by a recognized authority or validated by a fire test.
