SCOTT'S STORY

Over the years, I’ve moved through various roles within Saint-Gobain. In 2020, I transitioned to support Jewson as part of their Customer Experience (CX) Support Team. After the divestment in 2023, I refocused my efforts on helping our teams transform and improve customer and employee experiences across the business.

A major passion of mine—and a key part of my work—is leading the Together as One Steering Group. This group is made up of a dedicated team of volunteers committed to driving positive change around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within Saint-Gobain. Together, we foster a culture where every colleague feels valued, heard, and empowered to bring their whole selves to work.

Leading this group is incredibly rewarding. We focus on creating initiatives, sharing best practices, and breaking down barriers so that our workplace truly reflects the diverse communities we serve. It’s about more than policies; it’s about people—building trust, encouraging openness, and making sure everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. This work fuels my passion for supporting colleagues and customers alike, helping us all succeed together.

Throughout my career, I’ve realised that my true motivation comes from caring deeply about people. That’s what led me to earn a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and has guided every role I’ve taken on. Whether working with customers or colleagues, I strive to create experiences where people feel supported, respected, and inspired.

Customer Experience and Employee Experience are closely linked—when we improve the employee experience, it naturally leads to better outcomes for customers. By supporting these efforts across Saint-Gobain UK and Ireland, I’m proud to contribute directly to our purpose: making the world a better home.
