Concrete Core

Saint-Gobain supports high-rise delivery through advanced admixture technologies including Enviromix® low-carbon concrete solutions, designed to significantly reduce CO₂ impact while maintaining structural performance. CHRYSO® Quad enables greater use of locally sourced, recycled and manufactured sands, supporting circularity.
Building facades - glazing
Façades in tall buildings face intensified solar and wind exposure. Without careful specification, overheating and energy demand can rise significantly. Our high-performance glazing, including COOL-LITE® solar control glass and SageGlass®, helps manage solar impact while maximising daylight.
As part of Saint-Gobain’s façade expertise, Vetrotech high-security glazing can be integrated where elevated protection is required fitting seamlessly into façade design. Vetrotech also provides advanced fire-resistant glass solutions ensuring certified fire protection while maintaining design continuity.
Building facade - through-wall
GypLyner Xternal brings together British Gypsum, Isover and Intrastack products in a full Saint-Gobain through-the-wall solution for non-loadbearing SFS infill systems. Fire resistance tested to BS EN 1364-1, acoustic performance tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2.
Together, these systems support compliant, high-performing façade design built for long-term resilience.

Fire Performance
Fire strategy in tall buildings requires tested, integrated systems with clear evidence of compliance.
Our portfolio includes Vetrotech fire-resistant glazing, compatible solar control glass, British Gypsum Gyproc® firestopping and fire-rated drainage solutions, and Fosroc's Flamex MS320 Sealant, which can be used to fire stop around openings. All products support compartmentation, safe escape routes and regulatory confidence.

Building Movement Solutions
As movement must be accommodated as part of tall building design, the Gypframe Low Friction connector (LF7) is engineered to allow differential movement within partition systems. This helps maintain system integrity and long-term performance as buildings respond to environmental and structural force.
External Wall Insulation Systems
Saint-Gobain offers External Wall Insulation systems providing a fabric- first solution to reducing heat loss and improving thermal comfort in buildings while offering a range of modern and durable finishes.
