DFDS Office Building
Introduction:
Danish architecture firm PLH Arkitekter A/S have focused all their efforts on creating an office building in Copenhagen which is both environmentally as well as socially sustainable, compromising nothing in terms of acoustics or aesthetics.
Problem:
The primary aim was to reduce materials that are environmentally costly.
Solution:
Ecophon Focus™ Dg, Ecophon Focus™ Fixiform Ds, and Ecophon Focus™ Fixiform E were selected for their sustainability and acoustic performance, covering 9000m2 and 1000m2, respectively. This technique was appropriate for dealing with the acoustic issues connected with level jumps because of its flexibility to bend around corners. Because the places where these goods will be installed are highly crowded with workers and consumers, absorbing noises in the speech range was critical, and Class A sound absorbers were used to accomplish this.
We care about building better.
Ecophon Focus™ Dg
Ecophon Focus™ Dg hides supporting tile edges, creating a unique floating effect. Tiles are easily demountable, even in places with a shallow overall depth of system. For installations requiring a distinctive demountable suspended ceiling.
Ecophon Focus™ Fixiform E
Ecophon Focus™ Fixiform E produces unique transitions between different levels of ceiling, accommodating varied ceiling service installations or adding shape and structure to the room. Tiles are supplied flat and folded to 90 degrees on site before to installation.
Ecophon Focus™ Fixiform Ds
Ecophon Focus™ Fixiform Ds offers discrete transitions between ceiling levels, accommodating varied ceiling service installations or providing shape and structure to a room. Tiles are supplied flat and folded to 90 degrees on site before to installation.
