Introduction:

The Maria Ward Girls' School of the Archdiocese of Bamberg's new facility, set to be finished in 2022, will include elementary, secondary, grammar, and open all-day schools under one roof.
The new school facility is designed on a holistic learning idea. H2M Architects' drawings show an open building complex with collaboration space on the interior. The classrooms are situated in a ring pattern around the huge oval atrium, which includes the main stairway and free learning space, with the goal of maximising flexibility. All-glass walls give light and transparency while also allowing views from and into the classrooms.

Problem:

High dimensional precision is essential throughout manufacture. Limited space available during assembly. The customer has strict standards for delivery quantities and cycles, as well as delivery times and returns.

Solution:

Lindner Objektdesign and Vetrotech Saint-Gobain collaborated to create a glass partition wall system that blends in virtually flawlessly with the open space. 727 m2 of CONTRAFLAM 30 Wall and 351 m2 of CONTRAFLAM STRUCTURE 90-4 CLIMALIT fire-resistant glass, both intended as butt-joint glazing, offer dependable fire protection. The design of insulating glazing provides excellent sound insulation.

Benefits:

We collaborated with a partner to create an all-glass system that was custom-made for the project. We adhered to strict specifications and delivery deadlines.

We care about building better.
