Introduction:

Reigate School was renovated as part of a £28 million initiative that involved six schools. Over 800 Posi-Joists™ were made and integrated into cassettes to cover 1200 sq.m.

Problem:

The project's SIPs construction schedule requires extremely short lead times. The plan was a Just In Time initiative.

Solution:

The loading and unloading of the floor cassettes made this technique possible, allowing trucks to be conveniently unloaded based on where each individual cassette panel was to be placed on the job site. Pasquill was able to offer an outstanding six loads in one day despite the project's intricacy, which totaled fifteen loads. Pasquill utilized 18mm OSB decking to complete the school's Posi-Joist cassette floor panels.

Benefits:

They provide convenient access for the installation and maintenance of utilities in a floor area. This is especially beneficial in the transition to more sustainable buildings, where an growing number of mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems are being installed, prompting architects and specifiers to seek a adaptable solution.

We care about building better.
