Introduction:

The new commercial (office, retail) and residential complex at Szervita Square in Budapest is located in the city center, on the Danube's eastern bank. The famed promenades and retail areas, Váci Street and Fashion Street with the Kempinski Hotel, are within walking distance.

Problem:

The primary objective was to achieve solar control and thermal comfort while ensuring comfort and energy savings.

Solution:

The curving glass envelope at the corners mimics the adjacent buildings' antique facades, creating a vibrant mosaic of old and new. This mirror appearance is made possible by SAINT-GOBAIN'sCOOL-LITE®XTREME SILVER II glass, which is coated twice.
