What will be the impact in terms of terms of traffic movement?

For nearly 150 years the site at Holwell has been in active industrial use as a working foundry receiving HGV vehicles delivering raw materials and distributing final product to customers. The site has also generated vehicle movements from employees working at the site.

Prior to a planning application being submitted for the new development extensive traffic impact assessments will be undertaken. These assessments will consider the proposed traffic movements once the site is operational. These studies will form part of a traffic impact assessment that will be submitted to Melton borough council and Leicestershire County Council in support of the planning application.  We do expect the facility to have a higher number of vehicle movements compared to the prior factory.
