Saint-Gobain recognises key suppliers in this year's Supplier Day
Tackling climate change and reducing the embodied carbon of the solutions we provide customers requires collaboration and commitment to develop and execute decarbonisation strategies. Last week Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland held it’s latest supplier day, bringing together 26 of our key strategic suppliers to discuss progress on sustainability and how we can innovate together to support our customers and reduce our environmental impact.
These suppliers have a key role to play in helping us meet our long-term target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050, our 2030 target to reduce our Scope 3 emissions by 16% in absolute terms. They are also critical in helping ensure the Environmental Product Declarations we provide customers are robust and based on detailed information about the materials we use in our manufacturing processes.
The collaboration also helps make sure that we can continue to provide new and innovative solutions that meet the changing needs of our customers in terms of being lower carbon with higher performance levels, easier to use and that take account of the changing world of construction.
We were very pleased to recognise a number of our suppliers for their outstanding contributions in sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.
So, thank you and congratulations to the following companies for their efforts and commitments.
